Moto2 – 1.volný trénink
První trénink šestistovek vyhrál Alex Márquez (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS), který maximum na kol stanovil na hodnotu 1'52,515 sekundy. Tři desetiny ztratil druhý Sam Lowes (Swiss Innovative Investors), třetí Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo) byl o 0,328 sekundy pomalejší. Časy do pátého místa zajel Joan Mir (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS) a Lorenzo Baldassarri (Pons HP40).
Pád ve vysoké rychlosti zaznamenal Iker Lecuona (Swiss Innovative Investors), který do boxů dorazil pěkně potlučený, ale hlavně po svých. Havaroval také Hector Garzo (Tech 3 Racing), náhradní jezdec za zraněného Australana Remy Gardnera.
