Téma: Na SV 650 vidlice z GSXR

Zdravím pánové (a dámy), chci se optat, co všechno by obnášelo dát na SV650 2003 přední vidlice z nějakého (jakého?) GSXR. Stačilo by vyměnit jen vidlice, nebo i krk řízení, brýle atd...? A co třmeny, kotouče?
Budu rád za každý rozumný názor. Kolama dolů, díky.

bude ti sedieť z hocijakej motorky s prednými teleskopom 41mm. Všetky GSX-R 750/1000 majú USD vidlice a preto bez výmeny okuliarov to nepôjde. tak jedine GSX-R 600 '97-'03 mali konvenčnú vidlicu. Ale neviem akého priemeru.
...a prečo to chceš vlastne meniť?

Jde to, musíš i s brýlemi, nejlepší je koupit celej předek, kolo, osu, blatník, brejle, vidle, třmeny, do krku to pasuje. No a pak vymyslet, zamykání krku, nebo ho oželet atd... Soused to tak měl, vidle z GSX750R a jedna holka odtud taky, ta měla vidle z TL1000S...

OndraNavrc> keď si ohnuté teleskopy tak na 100percent budeš musieť meniť aj spodné okuliare... už som robil veľa búračiek a nikdy som sa nestretol s tým že by spodné brýle boli OK.

Mmm.... za 40 bych to prodal a za 50 koupil RSV. Stat to bude cca stejne a rovnou tim vytunis i motor a predevsim brzdy.

GSX-R Front-End Swap Parts Compatibility
When I was putting together the parts for my fork swap, I got sick of digging through the 20+ page forum post where all the information is buried. The forum search doesn't work so well, and I found myself having to go back to find one little answer a little too often.

So, I bit the bullet, and started extracting all I could from what people had learned over those 20 pages, and compiled it into this table. Basically, each row is a part you need, and each column is a group of GSX-R models that basically share the same parts.

Find the part that you need info on, and then look up and down the column to find what's compatible. For example, say you have the '02 GSX-R1000 forks, and you want to know what wheel you can use. All of the wheels up to '06/07 are basically the same. But, you could only use 320mm rotors, since the other years don't fit. Anyway, it's right as far as I know, but I reserve the right to have made a stupid mistake somewhere. Also, I really don't know anything about the 06/07's. They have some new parts, and I haven't found much about how well they work with older ones.

brake master cyl Same MC as the SV Radial MC- have heard reports that it sucks- anyway the stock SV one will do the job fine
clutch perch should all be same- maybe except for '07 GSX-R1000, which looks like it has adjustable clutch lever. You can re-use the SV clutch perch assembly, or use the GSX-R one to get more lever options. If you use GSX-R, you have to figure out a way to wire the clutch switch
other controls (re-use from SV)
clip-ons ? not sure what diameter, but since it's non-USD, probably 43mm clip-ons? 50mm clip-ons with locator screws. also 50mm clip-ons, but use locator tabs.
ignition (re-use from SV) different hole size
stem bearings/nuts (same- can also re-use from SV) different stem size
triples non-USD forks only Will let you keep steering lock and steering stops. Try to match year/model on upper/lower triple, as there are slight differences in hole spacing and offsets, especially with the GSX-R1000. Also, clip-on locator method is different between these two generations. You can use these with forks from both of these columns though different- different stem hole, ignition hole. Definitely can't keep steering lock, not sure about steering stops. Also not sure if they'll work with previous years forks and axle
forks silver/silver non-USD Showa, for non-radial brakes USD, for non-radial brakes. 1000 is dark gold/silver Kayaba, 750 is silver/silver Showa USD, for radial brakes. 1000 is gold/black Kayaba, others are gold/silver Showa USD, for radial brakes. 600 is gold/silver, others are black/gold. Not sure if they'll work with previous years' triples
fender for non-radial brakes can fit older forks with some modifications ?? - looks the same..
calipers non-radial. GSX-R1000 has 6-pot calipers (versus 4 for the others), but mounting holes are same radial. Not sure if 600/750 are interchangeable with 1000, or with other years radial. Not sure if 600/750 are interchangeable with 1000, or with other years
wheel compatible different axle, different rotor bolt pattern. Should be compatible with other axles though
rotors 320mm - can be used with other years by shimming calipers 300mm- can only be used with forks/calipers made for these models 310mm - can use calipers for 300mm rotors by shimming calipers. Cannot be used with other year wheels though
speedo sensor have to use workaround

Other Notes
clip-ons
TL-1000S (any year) are the best. They fit the 50mm USD forks, have about the same rise as the stock SV-S clip-ons, and have a mounting hole for the brake M/C. They're also damn near impossible to find. Your best bet is to try the Wanted forums at tlplanet.com
CBR954/929 clip-ons also have the same rise as SV-S. They use locator tabs, so watch what upper triple you try to use it with. Unfortunately, they are much shorter than SV-S clip-ons, and don't have a hole for mounting the brake M/C bracket. They're pretty easy to find on eBay
Supposedly you can use the GSX-R clip-ons, but they'll be much lower than the SV-S ones.
The only other options are aftermarket clip-ons, like Heli-bars, Convertibars, Gilles, and LSL riser clip-ons. Unfortunately, they all cost a few hundred $$
Forks Makes
All 600/750 forks are made by Showa, and the 1000 forks are always Kayaba. Supposedly Showa is better stuff
Clip-ons comparison
I ended up buying two sets of clip-ons because I didn't like the first. I thought it'd be helpful to show the different rise of the clip-ons.
The top one is the rare Two Bros. adjustable clip-ons I ended up using
In the middle (the black ones) are CBR929/954 clip-ons. These have almost exactly the same rise as the stock SV ones. Unfortunately, the bar is much shorter, and it would be a tight squeeze fitting the grip + switchbox + lever mount all onto the bar
On the bottom are '05 GSX-R600 clip-ons.

Nemuzu si pomoct, ale nez tunit SVcko, tak bych proste koupil rovnou lepsi motorku.

Vlastna skusenost. Na zr7 som toto urobil. Predne vidle zo zx6r a aj zadny central. Rocnik 1997 a teda klasicka plne nastavitelna vidlica. Samozrejme aj brzdy 4 piestik. Vzadu mala uprava ramu. Ta moto dost stvrdla. Aktualne sa hram stale s nastavenim. Ukazuje sa vsak, ze stelovanie odskoku a kompresie musi byt na minime, aby sa na tom dalo komfortne jazdit. Inac je to na nasich cestach uskakane. Teraz priblizne viem, ako sa citia strelci na SS, pri vyssej rychlosti je to lepsie, preto lietaju. A to som povodne SS chcel, asi by som bol hodne nestastny ak by som si ho kupil. Takto si za tu upravu mozem sam a ak sa mi to nebude stale lubit, pojdu komponenty nazad.
